Inglot Eyeshadow and Lipstick Swatches

Update 5/29: These photos were taken under harsh, yellow-toned fluorescent lighting, and therefore may not accurately represent the colors as they would appear normally.  New swatches will be taken and posted within the next week.

Check out these swatches of some of the Inglot products I bought about a month ago.  I just sent my review of them over to Karen at Makeup and Beauty Blog, so I’ll link to them when they go up.  Isn’t it obvious just from these why Inglot has quickly become one of my new favorite lines?

All swatches were applied with a fingertip swiped once across the product, to show how pigmented they are.

The numbers underneath each swatch are their “names” (Inglot assigns products numbers rather than giving them a wordy name.)

I also recently picked up that yellow and orange (those are my daily go-to lid colours, for yeeaaars now. I can never get enough). If I weren’t so clumsy I’d lift them out to check, but I think we also match on a number of other colours.
BUT, the apple of my eye is my lip palette. I have to physically restrain myself from using it every day or else I’d have to refill it in a few months. I am kicking myself for not picking up another (or three) when I had the chance, but I didn’t touch it until I arrived home from Vegas. I got a deep purple and the almost-black shade, a lilac, a watermelon and orange.
I have a definite case of makeup porn. Cannot wait to see your full review with Karen. And photos of whomever you doll up with your new palettes, of course.

Honestly, except for some standout products, I’m thinking of stocking most of my kit with Inglot (besides face products, although I do hear that Inglot’s are fantastic…)

Also, be careful trying to remove Inglot products from their palette until you are completely done with them. I’ve never tried it myself, but seen it done, and because they’re so soft and the magnets are so strong, the product often gets chipped or broken in the process… :$

That seems to be universal consensus: you better plan your colour scheme out perfectly because there is no flawless way to shuffle them about.
I did pick up a foundation, and was given samples of every type of foundation and concealer, amongst other things. Seems to be working quite well so far, with the requisite layer of milk of magnesia beneath. They were boooooored at that Vegas store. I spent a number of hours there. Very few customers entered, most were to ask questions about the Forum Shops. I felt badly, for their boredom, but dagnab I love fistfuls of samples.

I’ve never seen an Inglot product in real life until IMATS 2011 and I didn’t pick up anything or bother much at the stand because of the massive crowd. :[ I wish I had taken the time to look though since there are no Inglot stores where I live. I’m loving your posts. Cheers.

i love learning about a new brand! Thanks! (just found you from Karen <3)
i'm going to have to head to a Macy's counter till i can get to an actual store.
From your swatch pictures it looks like your white balance is off in our camera, there seem to be a lot of yellow tones. Did you take it at night with artificial lighting?
